From where does the mystery of extraordinary Faberge Eggs come from?
When Karl Faberge, jeweller of the Tsars of Russia created his eggs at the beginning of the twentieth century, he made them to show its exceptional talent, and to give pleasure to the Tsar Alexandre III. A half century later, these eggs attracted many covetousnesses on behalf of the collectors of the whole world, and many intrigues, sometimes dramatic were tied to acquire them. Nowadays, almost all its works are in national museums, and when one finds one of them on the market, it reaches astronomical prices.
Fortunately for the enthusiasts, a few factories of Saint Petersburg manufacture beautiful contemporary copies of them, and we present to you some of them for your pleasure. |
