Easter is the holy day most celebrated in Russia.
A week before Easter, the Sunday of Branches marks the beginning of the Holy week.
Habitually, they use it to make a big cleaning in the house.
With the aim of the Easter day, they make so especially cakes called "Koulitch" (kind of cylindrical brioches with dry grapes and candied fruits) and "Paskha" (gateau based on fromage frais, butter, cream and yellow of eggs).
These delightful dishes are the welcome after a Lent of 42 days.
On Saturday morning, they go to the church to make bless cakes which they prepared and eggs which were painted.
